So, Whats the story behind MOD90 Designs?
What is the inspiration?
Simply put, my Dad.
My Dad is a soldier, a commando and a gunner.
As a young man he travelled the world from the USA to Singapore with his gun battery, his friends and brothers of 79 Kirkee

I am incredibly proud of my father, his acomplishments and his service to our country.
It is this that has inspired me to make him and some of his closest friends and people i consider family, objects that celebrate their mutual sacrifices and bonds.
After receiving many requests for my work, I decided to put together this little website to showcase and offer my work to anyone that would like to own it, and it is my hope to grow this business offering new designs and objects that celebrate you and your service too.
And to you, I am eternally grateful.

A lifetime of making "things"
From a young age I was a builder, a tinkerer and a maker.
Most recently I am focused on military based decorative pieces, but i have made many, many things even including droids!

Another thing I love to do, these are hugely personal objects and take a considerable time to make, but they are incredibly rewarding.
Capturing our wartime history
Sometimes, even the smallest detail can open up and incredible backstory.
A friend offered me a box of medals and a wrinkled black and white photo from his Grandfather to frame.
A weeks worth of research uncovered a story of a torpedoed ship, days at sea hanging on to a door as flotation aid and seeing Field Marshal Montgomery take possession of the Heavy crusier Prinz Eugen in Copenhagen!
Look Sir, Droids..
Completely random, but true.
My ability to make a thing or two even extended to droids from StarWars and that in turn opened up an opportunity to work on some pretty cool movies!
