148 MEIKTILA Sapele/Resin Roundal

This Battery Roundal features the marks and names of the 148 “MEIKTILA” Forward Observations Battery.
The roundal itself is carved from 19mm thick Sapele ( A mahogany type of hard wood from Africa ) and is sealed with Danish oil, preserving the wood and bringing out the beauty of the natural grain.
The battery logo has been redesigned from the original image into a 2D relief and includes the battery designation.
The piece is manufactured from a high quality resin which has been painstakingly finished to replicate antiqued brass.
The entire piece is hand made and unique due to the wood grain.
The piece measures approximately 180mm or 7 inches in diameter and 19mm or 3/4 of an inch thick.
The roundal is supplied ready to hang with a “D” ring hanger.
