29 Commando REME Workshop Sapele/Resin Roundel

This Battery Roundel features the marks and names of the 29 Commando REME Workshop, based at the Citidel in Plymouth.
The roundel itself is carved from 19mm thick Sapele ( A Mahogany type hard wood from Africa ) and is sealed with Danish oil, preserving the wood and bringing out the beauty of the natural grain.
The REME Workshop logo has been redesigned from the original image into a 2D relief and includes the REME designation.
The piece is manufactured from a high quality resin which has been painstakingly finished to replicate antiqued brass.
The entire piece is hand made and unique due to the wood grain.
The piece measures approximately 180mm or 7 inches in diameter and 19mm or 3/4 of an inch thick.
The roundel is supplied ready to hang with a “D” ring hanger.
